The deadline for the “Get Kids to Camp Campership” & the “Maury Clancy American Indian Campership” is next Wednesday, June 15th.

Unlike other Scouting camperships, the Get Kids to Camp program works in partnership with local lodges and councils to create a matching grant program to cover camp fees for qualified and trained adults to serve as leaders for chartered or provisional units lacking adult leadership. http://www.oa-bsa.org/uploads/programs/kidstocampapplication.pdf

The Maury Clancy American Indian Campership fund was created in 1971 to help American Indian Scouts attend resident camp. This fund is named in memory of long time national committee member Maury Clancy, who contributed significantly to the Order. http://www.oa-bsa.org/pages/content/maury-clancy-indian-campership-fund
