May 1: Section W-1N OA High Adventure Scholarship

This scholarship is for the Order of the Arrow High Adventure programs (Philmont Trail Crew, Northern Tier Wilderness Voyage, W. V. Canadian Odyssey, Florida Sea Base OA Ocean Adventure, and the Bechtel Reserve Summit Experience). There will be four $300 scholarships awarded per year by the Section.

June 3: Section W-1N NLS Youth Discount
Section W-1N has set aside funds to pay for $62.50 of the registration fee for our youth members who will be attending the Alaska NLS on June 3-5, 2016.

June 15: Get Kids to Camp

Unlike other Scouting camperships, this program works in partnership with local lodges and councils to create a matching grant program to cover camp fees for qualified and trained adults to serve as leaders for chartered or provisional units lacking adult leadership.

June 15: Maury Clancy American Indian Campership

This fund was created in 1971 to help American Indian Scouts attend resident camp. The fund is named in memory of long time national committee member Maury Clancy, who contributed significantly to the Order.

October 31: OA Service Grant

Matching grant money is given to lodges for camp or service center projects in their local council. The Order will provide up to one-half of the money for a service project, with a $5,000 maximum amount granted for any lodge project.
